Departure from Ognina Marina

We cast off from the charming Ognina harbour and head south along the coast, bow pointed towards the pristine coves of Marchesa del Cassibile.

Together we'll choose one of these wonderful coves for our first dip in azure, crystal-clear waters — surrounded by unparalleled caves, rocks and predominantly sandy, crystalline seabeds.

Capo Murro di Porco lighthouse

We take a wider route northward, hoping to meet friendly dolphins along the way, until we reach the easternmost point of this part of Sicily — marked by one of the oldest military lighthouses on the island, with towering cliffs over deep blue seas.

Snorkeling in Plemmirio Marine Reserve

Inside the protected marine area of Plemmirio you'll snorkel among rich Mediterranean fauna — from barracudas to rare moonfish and the unmistakable occhiate.

Arenella, Asparano & Ognina cave

A few more dips near the beautiful beaches of Arenella and Asparano, then a final stop at the stunning Ognina sea cave. For paddle lovers, calm coves along the way are perfect for SUP — available upon request, to be booked in advance.

Aperitif before returning

Just before heading back to port, we'll lay out an aperitif of typical local snacks paired with fine Sicilian wine — the perfect way to close the day at sea.
